Dr. Steven Ripple owns and operates Smile Stars Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In addition to providing complete oral hygiene and dentistry services to pediatric patients, Dr. Steven Ripple manages community outreach initiatives such as Jeremiah, the traveling mascot who teaches children the importance of proper oral care. Under his leadership, Smile Stars Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics successfully expanded into a second location in Prairieville in 2018. Beyond his activities as a pediatric dentist, he has 25 years of experience as the owner of Crawfish Aquatics, which provides free swimming lessons to youth in need.
After earning his bachelor of science in biological sciences from Louisiana State University, Dr. Ripple earned his DDS at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He subsequently extended his training at the University of Kentucky by completing a pediatric dental residency program. This involved comprehensive anesthesia training and the treatment of medically compromised and special needs children.
Dr. Steven Ripple’s professional affiliations range from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry to USA Swimming. Meanwhile, his personal interests primarily involve swimming and attending Istrouma Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
